واوضح المتحدث باسم الوزارة عبد المتين قاني في بيان لوسائل الإعلام، إن 153 شخصا لقوا مصرعهم فيما أصيب 138 آخرون في الفيضانات المفاجئة الناجمة عن الأمطار الغزيرة التي ضربت الولاية.
وقال رئيس قسم إدارة الكوارث الطبيعية في بغلان هداية الله حمدارد "ان لأمطار الخفيفة استمرت في العديد من مناطق الولاية اثناء فترة مساء أمس الجمعة، و ان أكثر من 1500 منزل تضررت أو دمرت تماما بسبب الفيضانات التي أثرت في ولايات أخرى شمالي أفغانستان من بينها تخار وبدخشان و غور وهرات. https://sabanew.net/viewstory.php?id=110765
